Day #3 – November 21, 2012
I woke up this morning with an overwhelming attitude of generosity for generally everything I’ve been given. I’m so grateful for living in the United States of America. I’m so grateful for having a home with a roof over my head to keep me sheltered from the weather. I’m so thankful for food whenever I desire. I’m grateful for water to drink, for a car to drive, for a family that loves me; I’m thankful for eyes to see, ears to hear, and a voice to speak. I’m overall thankful to be living.
I know so many people that take their lives for granted. It’s this time of year that people start reflecting on their lives – either they love it or they hate it.
It’s A Wonderful Life is such an awesome movie that portrays how if you were never born or given the life you were, that the world really would be completely different. As much as some of us might want to see how the world would be different if we never existed, no one will ever have that opportunity. So why not start making the most of the life we have? Why just sit around and do nothing or complain about how much you may hate your life? This is the one life you will ever have, it’s time to start appreciating it.
“When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and could say, “I used everything you gave me.”
